Although Matrix Applied Technologies was formed in 2013, its parent company, Matrix Service Company, was founded in 1984. Originally a tank construction company, its subsidiaries have quickly evolved into the contractor of choice for the engineering, construction, maintenance and modification of aboveground storage tanks, terminals, natural gas processing, power generation and delivery, and material handling, to name a few.
